Walid has over 25 years of experience in international finance in emerging markets. He has raised and invested more than $800M and executed over 30 transactions across investments and divestments.
In 2011, he founded Gulf Capital’s private credit business, focusing on structured investments across Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey. Previously, he led the NBK Capital Mezzanine Fund and worked at the International Finance Corporation in Washington, D.C., Istanbul, and Dubai for a decade.
